So, David Krumholtz blocked me on twitter. The offending tweet that made him block me was one of many at the expense of his new show “Partners”, which may just be the most offensive thing I have ever watched. Not just because I am a gay man, but because I am a man, and even further, because I am a human. It is an offense that should be shared by all those with x chromosomes. That includes animals. I think the weeping willow across the street even sagged a bit lower when the show was on.
In any case, I still love David Krumholtz despite the horrible choice he’s made. (Brandon Routh too, and believe me, it isn’t easy liking Brandon Routh after the choices he’s made.) I don’t mind the blocking too much, but I would like to show that I still do like the guy himself, and I would like to show my appreciation by following his twitter. Heck, I may not have a Nielson box, but I still tune into Partners on the occasion David says something funny, and believe me, that’s a terrible burden. I was 13 minutes into what I thought was Partners before I realized that that was Jon Cryer instead of Michael Urie, and I was watching Two and a Half Men.
The point I suppose I’m slowly driving towards is that I look forward to David’s next gig after Partners, which is hopefully soon, and that I hope that people don’t lose faith in Krumholtz. But I still recommend watching the second half of Bones after viewing HIMYM. They’ve ruled out most of the suspects, so it should be fairly easy to follow the mystery inbetween watching David Boreanez grow old and your memories of Angel and your dreams of a decent live action Green Lantern die as he hits on the strangely even more odd Deschanel sister.
